GTD Productivity Training
35
As a productivity coach, I have studied a great number of different methods, tricks, processes, and "hacks" geared towards increasing productivity and mindfulness. In all of my years of study, I have yet to find any process more effective than Getting Things Done.
Put simply, GTD is a time and resource management philosophy developed by David Allen. The system is divided into 5 steps which empower you to capture all of your tasks, projects, responsibilities, appointments, and other miscellaneous "to-dos" into a trusted external system.
By implementing GTD, you will shift away from "reactive" productivity and towards "proactive" productivity, allowing you to know better what to do at any given moment by seeing more of the whole picture. Also, by using an external system to track everything, you will free up your finite mental capacity and allow your brain to focus on the higher, creative work that it's actually good at.
