Guitar Lessons

A session generally lasts from 30 minutes to 60 minutes, but you get more out of it if you spend time alone working on things we discussed in lesson. We will address guitar basics and get into specific topics that interest you as we progress.
Training & Qualifications
I make my living performing and teaching guitar. I learned to play by backing my Dad at fiddle contests. Today, I am well known in the fiddle contest circuit and am still in demand to back fiddlers from all over the United States. I also play bluegrass, western swing, Irish (i.e. John Doyle, Daithi Sproule), and other styles. I can teach rhythm and lead ideas.
Availability & Preferences
I am pretty flexible, but prefer weekdays for scheduling sessions. We can do weekends if you like. I am on the road sometimes and can do sessions while on the road, but they can be more difficult to schedule.
