If you let me try out your service and I think you are doing well, I will write you a candid review, recommendation letter. If very positive, I will also publish a public review on Google/Yelp/etc.
If I do not write a positive review for your service, I will provide you with private feedback and suggestions for improvements and will be willing to re-review your service at a later date.
I want to help others succeed, not make people feel bad. :)
