I will help you out with teaching your older (i.e.: Middle & High School aged) home school students with the study of history, literature, philosophy, art history, and religion.
My technique involves the use of story telling and the Socratic method combined with lecture, art and "living history" activities such as cooking. While my exact specialization is medieval, I am versed with World history from the early River Valley Civilizations to the current day.
While I am on the "progressive" end of the Christian spectrum, I am fully committed to Nicean orthodoxy.
Training & Qualifications
I hold an MA in Medieval Church history and Systematic/Philosophic Theology from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. My BA is in History with a Minor in English Literature, and a near minor in Art History.
