Anamchara/Spiritual Direction

25

25 per session - Virtual OK - Posted Jun 03, 2016

I will sit and listen to you, holding you in prayer, while helping you find your path to God better. I am a Christian, trained in this sort of activity, and I draw from the Discaliced Carmelite tradition of Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, and others.
If you are having problems in prayer, dryness in your spiritual life, or just need to talk to someone about your vocation, I am more than willing to help.
I have a special focus on LGBT and "geek" issues, I am open to all who may be in need.

Training & Qualifications

I hold an MA in Theology from Austin Theological seminary and am trained in mentoring and direction.
I am also a soon to be Member of the Priesthod for the Old Catholic Church, a progressive Christian Church.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About John Robison

I am a free lance scholar, soon to be Old Catholic Priest, geek, and gadfly. I am looking forward to helping my community, particularly through a medium with avoids the dehumanizing aspects of capita...lism. I have an MA in History and Systematic/ Philosophical Theology from Austin Presbyterian, and a BA from Davis and Elkins College. I am a part of a tradition that falls on the "Progressive" side of the Christian Theological spectrum, but one that stays well within the peramiters of the Nicean Creed. I am particularly interested in working with members of the LGBT community, and all people who feel left out by the mainstream Church and society.show more
