My business is a mix of services as well as offering hardware and making recommendations.
I typically meet a lot of prospective customers over the phone or virtual in order to gage their needs and answer their questions on going solar or adding renewables to their lives. There is a lot of technical jargon and a very complicated electric company industry to navigate and how everything connects and works together and of course a lot of mis-information out there. Some States are pro solar and renewables and other are not and I consult with those people with or without solar incentives and rebates. There are also questions on if you should lease a solar power system or buy a system outright and keep all the rebates and incentives (if any) that we can help with. Most of our consulting focuses on helping technically or mechanically inclined customers do their own installations with our guidance. A large chink of the purchasing and installing of a system is the installation and the hardware mounting. The solar and inverter hardware has dropped in price in the last few years.

We start charging when the customer wants a proposal and detailed project plan and hardware list and calculations. We also give a rough outline and digram of system layout once we have enough info to get started. It is very time consuming to do the calculations required and get current pricing for hardware for quotes.
Training & Qualifications
I am an Entrepreneur and have a background in the Tech Sector (See LinkedIn Profile) as well as Real Estate investing and management. I use my consulting background in IT to help individuals and companies educate themselves on solar and renewables for their needs as well as offer services and hardware systems to get them there.
Availability & Preferences
I am typically available from 9am to 6pm seven days a week Central Time. Sometime I am traveling or handling Real Estate projects so scheduling a time to talk for a n hour or so is advisable. I am an hour N of San Antonio TX if you want to meet local as well.
