Video editing

1 unit = 1 video
Need footage edited to your liking? Rest the search. With the virtual (and even physical) tools available to me, I can turn your video clips into the final product you want. Scripted project? Spontaneous chaos? I can take it on so you do not have to. However you prefer sharing your clips, I will edit the video however you need it edited.
I do apologize for having such a limited availability for this service. I am limited by the number of computers I have to process projects and need to make sure that when failure happens (as it is inevitable with such a subjective subject as video production), it does not interfere with other projects or iterations of the same thing. Unlike a spontaneous event on video, I prefer to have some form of order to the chaos that is authoring a video. I kindly thank you for your understanding.
Training & Qualifications
As far as editing goes, I have seen a lot of madness. From literally cutting tapes to dubbing between VTRs, and now the easy way with non-linear software. I have been editing home movies since 2000 with whatever half-baked method fit the situation and in sixteen years, only once has anything ever actually gone wrong (back in the tape days of things). Today in the age of tapeless editing, it has never been easier to achieve the desired results, but the learning curve is still there. I have been there to watch it grow and I have taken the time to learn the software. From movie maker to Adobe's Creative Suite. AVID, Final Cut, even crude video switcher style setups with two or three VTRs and even the crude in camera editing Samsung offered in the playback of their camcorders for a few years. You name it, I have probably cut a video with it. In college courses they told us to complete projects by whatever means necessary and I often took that to heart (if the process is ugly but the output is satisfactory, it still worked).
