I currently make my glass work in New Jersey original from Maryland but I love the nature and it's repetition of beauty

My work is made to give you the essences of nature and remind you that it surrounds us all. I enjoy making nature themed work because it is my home and all of are homes.

I love to trade and barter with other artist, collectors of stones/crystals,

About Jerrad Santmyer

Born in Woodbine Maryland Jerrad santmyers fascination with glass began at the age of three when his parents took him to his first outing at the Maryland renaissance festival where he saw glass blow...ers for the first time after graduating high school he spent all his money on equipment for flameworking, a form of glass blowing that can be done at home with a torch and kiln. After spending a year teaching himself his parents gifted him with a glassblowing class so that he could learn more techniques, after showing up to the class he realized it was not flameworking and was actually furnace working he took the class and a new love of glass blowing began for him. Jerrad spent the next year and a half interning and eventually working and instructing class/demonstrations at the glass studio The Art of Fire (which just so happened to be the same glass blowers Jerrad saw when he was three) While teaching himself flameworking at home he began wanting to learn more techniques so Jerrad enrolled himself in Salem Community colleges Glass art Program. Almost finished with his degree he has had work in the Paterson Museum and featured with world famous flameworking artist at the "Inde-pendant" show at Ruckus Gallery in Philadelphia. "I love glass and cats both beautiful but unpredictable" show more
