Digitally Cataloging Photographs
50
I will scan your photographs into a file for you, and will organize them in any manner you prefer. I can deliver them to you on a memory stick or disk, if you would rather have a physical record to access them from. I can also email the files to you after scanning, or upload them to any photo storage site of your choosing. I take exceptional care with these types of memories, as the moments they capture are priceless and often irretrievable. I'm also able to add a limited amount of photo restoration, such as cloning out dust spots and blemishes, fixing small scratches and the like, et cetera. Please let me know if you require any retouching, and I'll be able to tell you if it falls under my skill set.
Also noteworthy: The 'Price In Simbi' listed below references the cost per album scanned.
Training & Qualifications
I'm currently in the process of digitally cataloging my own photographs using an HP F2210 scanner, to prevent ever losing them in the event of a natural disaster or fire. I've taken classes in Photography and Digital Imaging, and have used Photoshop, Picasa, and Lightroom to edit and restore photographs after scanning.
Availability & Preferences
The HP scanner that I'm using to digitize my own prints is currently housed at my place of employment, which limits my availability with that machine to 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday. This excludes all federal holidays, when our facility is closed.
If you have need of these services outside this time frame, please let me know during my business hours, and I can bring my equipment cables home to use with my Canon scanner.
