She is the founder of Major Probs, an organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering students to dream more, learn more, and do more by providing students with the knowledge, resources, and institutional support needed to solve major problems. She hopes to revolutionize the education industry making it more student centric.
Iqra Shaikh received a BA in Geography and Minor in City Planning from UC Berkeley and attended the BASE Business Intensive with the HAAS School of Business. She also received an AA in Liberal Arts, a COA in Business Administration and a COA in Speech Communication from De Anza College.
Prior to founding Major Probs, she founded Hungry Bears, a peer to peer food sharing group that addresses food insecurity on the Cal Campus, an issue which impacts 21% to 59% of undergraduate students. Iqra Shaikh also served on the Board of SSWANA, a student coalition that works to foster dialogue and administrative support for members of the SSWANA community.

In her free time she enjoys trying new things, hiking, and traveling. She is also a certified horseback riding instructor.
