I've I've done with arthritis for 34 years and was diagnosed when I was 4. One thing people with chronic pain learn fast is that we all have a pain no one else can see and I'd like to lesson that burden by being a supportive resource for others.
I am 8 years sober of a hard drug addiction and have been able to conquer the negative lifestyle myself with coping mechanisms I learned while growing up in the social service system.
Having been around mentally and physically Ill people my whole life, as well as working with them on professional level has given me a positive viewpoint and coping skill set that no book or school can teach.
Being the child of a manic-depressive-schizophrenic mother has given me many tears but had taught me one very important lesson: people are people. We are the way we are and that's that. Acceptance, kindness and compassion are key to improving relationships as well as self image.
Helping people with healthy decisions whether it be through food or support is how I have been able to share my stories that have inspired and mentored many in my career to dream big and take the steps to a better love-filled life.
