The Auto Immune Paleo diet (AIP) is an elimination diet specifically designed for people suffering from an autoimmune di sease. By eliminating and then reintroducing foods that are common triggers for symptoms problematic foods are identified. Common trigger foods are gluten, dairy, nightshades, soy, grains, seeds, nuts, coffee, chocolate, alcohol, seed based spices and fruit based spices. It can be a rough road.
