LaTex document typesetting
20
LaTex is an open-source, document typesetting language. It's widely used in scientific publications in the fields of mathematics and physics for articles, reports, and even books; many members of academia use it for their thesis. Moreover, its flexibility allows it to be used in presentations.
The LaTex community has created numerous packages tailored for specific tasks, from drawing molecular energy diagrams to simple schematics, all using its source code.
Besides the more involved applications, LaTex can be used for professional typesetting of resumes, forms, brochures, posters, manuals, all kinds of books, etc. and I will assist you through the process of building the document you need.
There are many templates out there from which you can choose, and I'll make a selection according to your needs. Moreover, we can build your own personalised version as well.
Training & Qualifications
I have an M.Sc. in Chemistry, and have my name in 2 published articles.
I worked as a TA for several years, and enjoy making people understand complicated notions. This has lead me to learn LaTex, a typesetting language which creates professional documents. From here on, I developed an interest in technical writing.
Meanwhile, I also worked as a copywriter briefly for a start-up company which didn't make the cut.
On my spare time, I write electronic music/events reviews, and provide proofreading services for my collaborations.
