Teach to Crochet

I will teach you the basics of crocheting. You need to have your own tools to work with: a crochet needle; some sort of simple, beginner pattern; and the correct yarn for your pattern. First, I'll teach you how to read the pattern and some common abbreviations that are used, then we'll move on to teaching you some common stitches. Lastly, you should be able to work on your pattern, but I'll assist as necessary, and help if any more advanced techniques, stitches, abbreviations, or anything else comes up.
If you're unsure of where to find your tools, which tools you need, or what yarn to buy, I'm happy to help with that too.
How long this takes to learn will vary from person to person, but I'm willing to put in the time, if you are.
If you already know the basics but need help with something more advanced, or need someone to test your pattern I'm willing to help with that too.
Training & Qualifications
I've been crocheting since I was the 6th grade. That's over 10 years experience. I've been following patterns since then. I've also made up a few patterns of my own.
My mother taught me, and now she teaches in a small business setting.
Availability & Preferences
I'm usually free in the evenings.
