I will copy edit (edit for style, clarity, and content) and/or proofread (edit for technical and mechanical issues) a document of up to 5 double-spaced pages. I'm happy to look over essays, blog posts, articles, cover letters/resumes, emails, web copy - whatever you need!
You can let me know whether you're looking for technical editing or want me to make suggestions geared towards improving your writing. I'll provide in-line edits and marginal comments using Google Docs (or MS Word, if that's easier for you). I'm also happy to discuss my edits and suggestions on the phone or in person.
Training & Qualifications
I spent the last three years working towards my MFA in poetry and teaching college composition and creative writing. I'm familiar with AP Style and MLA Style, and have provided writing, copy editing, proofreading, and fact-checking services for local magazines, national nonprofits, businesses, and individuals.
