You will receive meditation guidance from a skilled meditation instructor from the comfort of your home. I can consult you on various techniques and traditions and I can coach you in what has worked for me. You likely already know of the many physical and psychological benefits that meditation can bring to the people who practice it regularly. I want your life to improve in every way possible and I am here to assist you with positive change . If you're seeking spiritual guidance I can help with that too.
Meditation reduce stress, lowers anxiety and curbs depression. It does this by decreasing potentially toxic hormones like cortisol and by increasing melatonin and the neural chemical dopamine. Generally this combination lowers blood pressure, improves sleep and improves cognitive functions like attention and memory.
My job is to help you become skilled in meditation and more proficient if you already have a practice going. I can guide you to and through the the best tools and techniques. To begin, I will send you a brief assessment template to evaluate of your needs and desires. Next, I can lead you to more of what I think will be helpful for your journey. Lastly, I can mentor you during the beginning stages of your development and beyond if you so wish.
Training & Qualifications
My experience with meditation is diverse and by no means complete. I first began to take meditation seriously in 2008 when I did my 200 hour yoga teacher training. During the same year I also joined the non-religious and philosophical fraternity A.M.O.R.C. Since then I have done four Vipassana courses. During my first Vipassana nothing short of a miracle occurred for me, although it wouldn't be the first or last time. During my early stages I was involved with The Monroe Institute and took their Gateway Voyage. In addition, I have listened to hundreds of hours of their patented Hemi-Sync technology. One of the greatest blessing of my life has been to have the privilege to work for a float therapy spa near my house. This has been a mostly karma cleaning gig where I clean weekly and receive floats in return. I've floated well over 100 time and even completed a full six week float challenge! My good fortune is to be able float once per week. I highly recommend to everyone. I'm in this for the long run and wish to achieve 10,000 of meditation during my life time. So far I have facilitated four Meetup group meditations.
In addition to meditation I make a point to schedule in reading every day. My interests are wide and I study everything from Catholicisms to Hinduism and from transhumanism to Taoism. So many isms lol.
Availability & Preferences
Being self employed, my schedule varies from day to day. I like to try to plan one week in advance. Contact me and we can discuss a mutually agreeable time to connect either in person of virtually.
