There are many reasons to prepare a speech: ask for a promotion, propose to your significant other, convince your parents to lift your curfew, etc. To maximize your chances of success, you must prepare, practice, and deliver an effective speech.
The two main components of a speech are the content (what) and the delivery (how). I focus on the delivery.
As a speech delivery coach, I will:
- Listen to your goals, your strengths and weaknesses
- Observe you while you deliver your speech (or sample of speech)
- Provide feedback on your delivery based on your desired outcomes
- Observe you while you deliver your speech again.
- Provide another round of feedback
What I will observe specifically:
- Tone
- Posture
- Gesture
- Facial expression
- Voice
Training & Qualifications
I received the Competent Communicator award by Toastmasters International. I also competed in both humorous and inspirational speech contests. I also mentored less experienced club members to help them improve.
