Recipes & Remedies
Swapping our family favorites, doesn't have to be a secret recipe. Just one you know you and your family can rely on as a tasty option everyone enjoys time after time. Here we can also go over any folk, natural, etc tried and true remedies from anything such as an upset bellyache to an open wound in the woods needing a poultice. This is a place to come together and share the joys we have of cooking while we laugh about our failed attempts that helped us get to where we are now. Or how that one thing we learned like extra cinnamon to help with leveling out our blood sugar really did make a difference to you and you would like to pass it on to be shared as much as possible to whomever may need it. We all have our own favorite reliables when the days seem long or our bodies are needing that extra care to carrry on.
Training & Qualifications
I have been collecting old family recipes and remedies for about 20 years. I have always had a fascination with hearing the stories of how they became the family favorites, sometimes only to be put to use for special occasions due to traditional practice. I even have been so lucky to find time to time in my thrift store and flea market wanderings the beloved collection awaiting for someone to recognize it as the true treasure it is. Looking forward to sharing with you all.
