I am a pipe maker from Boise Idaho. I am the owner of Moon Valley Pipe Works. I make, source and repair Briar tobacco smoking pipes. I used to make custom guitars but my passion is pipe making. I ma...ke traditional as well as modern style pipes. I can supply pipe , tobacco, and cigar shops with handmade pipes as well as basket pipes. I also offer pipe racks as well as other related pipe items. I use Ebonite, Vulcanite, Lucite, Bone, Acrylic, and faux bone wood and ivory. I mainly use Briar for the stummels but can use alternate woods like Olive wood, Pear wood, as well as Morta. I make a line of pipes that look like they are very old, not worn out or abused but well aged. My specialty is very colorful pipes. I like to use Purple, Green. Orange, Blue, Red, Yellow, Pink and other colors not usually seen on a briar pipe. I can make all sizes and styles of tobacco smoking pipes. I do not make glass or metal pipes. I am currently making pipes full time and am dedicating all my time to this activity. I use premade stems as well as stems I make by hand. I am also working with a few other pipe makers to bring the best of our talents to customers who want the best of the best. I currently am working with 2 pipe makers from the United States and am soon to work on a collaboration with a pipe maker from the United Kingdom.
