About Christina T

Long time freelance artist from a long line of family artisans both domestically and international. I specialize in ink and watercolor and my preferred subject matter is often naturalist. I have worke...d in large scale murals, children's book illustration, private commissions, tattoo design, and of course, I create independently. I'm involved in many art education projects in my local community and have created works for private and public enjoyment. My goal is to make someone smile when they look at my work. Sometimes, I get a bit more intense but that comes with my moods. Mostly I create for the young at heart and kids tend to appreciate my work the most. Art is for Everyone! My preferred medium is ink and watercolor but I have created in so many other ways. From house building, to ceramics, canvas paintings, wall murals, and fiber art...the ideas come and the creating must commence. I hope you will look around and find my work interesting and maybe something that makes you smile. Beyond the artistic with a brush me is the out of the box thinking me. That's the me that is all over the place, gets involved in outside projects, and is constantly coming up with ideas to create a project, event, or even just share experiences. I've built designed and built houses, redesigned spaces, created theme events, worked in non-profits, spent some time in Italy with family, can bake and cook tasty goodies with ingredients, grow a tomato or two and a few cucumbers, can carry on conversations with total strangers, and long to be near the ocean.
