I will proofread a draft of any kind of writing and correct grammatical, stylistic, typographic or spelling problems. I also offer, when appropriate and desired, an explanation for why I've made each of these changes, to help you grow as a writer. In addition I can provide writing tutoring; I specialize in the academic essay (including college entrance essay) and will share my knowledge regarding structure, style, research techniques and more.
Training & Qualifications
I hold a B.A. In English, summa cum laude, and am a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. I have been writing creatively for over 15 years and have also acquired two graduate degrees, so I am intimately familiar with both the academic and creative writing process. I am currently working in lower elementary Montessori education.
