Bitcoin is one of the more well-known cryptocurrencies, so you might have heard its name dropped on local news coverage (or other cryptocurrencies, like Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, or others) and are wondering how to start getting invested or not quite able to wrap your head around it? Let me help!
I'll assess your desires for getting into Bitcoin (Dabbling? Long-term investing? Merchant or international transfer services?), and help you take your first steps, which could include:
- 30 minute tutorial on as much of the technical details of Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, or blockchain technology you want to know.
- Install a wallet application (like signing up for an email address) and use it to practice acquiring some digital currency
- Sign up for an exchange service and get familiar with market trading of digital currencies
- Wire up your online site to accept Bitcoin payments (through BitPay or Coinbase)
