Help with LDS Young Women's PP

I love the Young Women Personal Progress program. It really is inspired. It has helped me establish some great personal habits, such as reading my scriptures everyday. It's also a lot of fun. Learning new skills, meeting new people, and serving others! It's an adventure!

I've also helped other Young Women with their own Personal Progress when I was in the presidency. A lot of it is meant to be done individually but you would be surprised how much can be done with others!

I know it can be overwhelming to complete it but I'm willing to help. I'll help in any way I can. I can read scriptures with you, help you set goals, brainstorm, be the listener, help set up projects, or anything else you may need.

Training & Qualifications

I have my own Young Women's Personal Progress medallion that I earned in 2004, which was when they brought out the current program. I was in the YW presidency in 2014 and I helped other young women achieve their goals.

I absolutely love learning but it can be so expensive. I love the idea of trading services. We all have skills and things we love, so why not trade them for new experiences?

About Bri Hinson

I am a thirty year old mom that homeschools. I really love homeschooling. Watching my kids learn and knowing that I helped them get there is so rewarding. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of... Latter-day Saints and have been a member for 16 years. I learned Spanish while on a mission for my church. I wouldn't say I'm fluent but I do understand a lot. Im always looking for opportunities to practice my Spanish. I love arts and crafts, but I don't feel very skilled at them. I've always wanted to learn to sew, crochet and quilt. I love reading. My favorite books are the Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, Persuasions by Jane Austen, and Christy by Catherine Marshall. I'm always looking for a good book to read but I don't like books that have cussing or sex. As a result, I read a lot of classics and young adult books. I love video games and board games. I'm very competitive. If my husband and I play a game, we fight. It's the only time we fight. We now no longer play games. My favorite video game is BioShock. I just love the storyline for it. I always cry at the good ending. It's so touching. I enjoy baking. I can't make anything with yeast turn out right but I'm great at making desserts. I make these chocolate chip cookies that just melt in your mouth! So delicious! I love learning about other religions and other cultures. I'm always looking for new experiences. show more
