House Rabbit Training Advice
5
Do you have or want an indoor rabbit companion to keep you company? I can help guide you through the process of turning your rabbit into a functioning member of your household.
I can use Skype or other virtual connectivity to find out your goals and figure out where you are, and what your next steps should be. I can observe your rabbit's behavior and offer advice and troubleshooting of problem areas, rabbit personality analysis, and set realistic goals for you and your rabbit going forward.
Note: This service is for indoor companion animals (pets) only. I don't provide advice for outdoor hutch keeping, breeding operations, dispatch or butchering.
If you don't have simbi, check out my requests for services, or offer a service and maybe we can work something out, OR pay it forward. I am flexible!
Training & Qualifications
I have kept pet house rabbits my entire life. It is a hobby of mine to study their behavior and communication methods. I also volunteer with rabbit rescues and attend conventions.
I currently own a neutered male Dwarf Hotot with about a 50-100 word vocabulary who has 24-hour free run of my house and performs tricks like ringing a bell, jumping through a hoop, working puzzles, spin right or left on command, coming when called, going into his crate on command, and I plan to start some bunny agility with him this coming year. Rabbits that are trained and regularly challenged to perform tasks tend to form closer bonds with their owners.
