I will provide a brief analysis and advice regarding one medical question of your choice. I will:
Offer a detailed and accurate medical answer to your question.
Offer a brief plan of action to go from here with your doctor
I can provide disease specific education
- Medication education
- Assistance in understanding a plan of care prescribed by a healthcare professional
- Help in working toward adhering to your plan of care
- Preparation for upcoming medical office visit
I will NOT:
Provide a definitive diagnosis or attempt treatment over the phone.
Write prescriptions of any kind.
Agree to establish any kind of doctor/patient relationship with you unless you have actually seen me in clinic.
Act as a substitute for seeing your primary care physician.
This service is intended as a way to obtain accurate and safe information about medical questions, not as a way to avoid going to the doctor. I am happy to help answer questions you don't think you'll have time to ask your doctor or which your doctor did not address, but I always reserve the right to refer you to your primary care physician for any and all matters which come up during the course of our consultation.
Training & Qualifications
A board certified Family Medicine Physician with experience in several different types of medical settings. I have significant experience with complimentary and alternative medicine and am comfortable providing information and education to a wide range of education levels.
Availability & Preferences
Availability is variable, especially this time of year. I am usually available after 1700 CST on weekdays until 2000 CST and all day on weekends. This is subject to change until after the holidays.
