Learn basics of Chess
60
I love playing chess, and have been playing since my childhood days. In past, I have represented my undergrad university at national level, and also played multiple international tournaments. Although after many years now my edge has reduced significantly, but still quite good to teach you basics of the game, and get you started.
Chess is a very nice strategy game, which will improve your brain power. Give it a try! Once you are up to speed, we can practice on 'SocialChess' app. This will be an hour or less lesson, and I will recommend a book if needed (but once you know the basics, I do not think that would be necessary - resources are available online for free).
To begin, please have a look at http://www.thechesswebsite.com/learn-to-play-chess/ or any free online basic explanation. Just give it a read through. If it is not possible or you do not have time, it is ok, we will talk from scratch. After this, we can converse over phone or skype. Please buy a chess board. At the last phase, we will play games using the app 'Social Chess' - its free and fun! If you do not have access to the app, no worries, we will play online and arrange for that.
