Shinrin-Yoku or Forest Bathing
20
As a Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, I offer walks to individuals, familys, couples, and groups in general. This experience helps you connect with nature and with others. It is a typically relaxing experiencing with research-backed results. Individual results vary, but one might have lowered blood pressure, heart rate, and stress. This practice is beneficial to everyone of all ages and abilities; however, it might be especially beneficial to someone with anxiety or depression or experiencing grief.
- my walks do not typically take place in winter; exceptions are negotiable.
- walks are usually 2 hours or more in duration with a slow, mindful pace.
- wheel-chair and stroller accessible
- a week long intensive is planned for late spring
