About Aris Economopoulos

Aris is a strong believer in the power of entrepreneurship to effect positive change. He joined NexusCrowd to help build a leading crowdfunding platform at the forefront of democratizing private capit...al markets through technology. Prior to joining NexusCrowd, Aris played a key role in the successful funding and launch of two private companies, a technology company focused on information management systems and a real estate company focused on income producing investments. He also provided litigation support and consulting for financial markets clients with the Global Business Experts Group on cases valued in excess of US$35 million. Before these ventures, he worked as an Investment Banker at Mackie Research Capital Corporation where he provided transaction execution and advisory services to natural resources and diversified industries companies. Aris holds an HBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario where he graduated with distinction and obtained the Certificate in Entrepreneurship.show more
