Wanna spin you're own yarn to knit, crochet or do other crafts with? It offers much more variation and ability to customize your project than using store bought yarns! I will have a 20-30 min in person or skype conversation with you to show you different types of spindles and help you pick which is best for you and offer suggestions on where to buy one and what to look for. I will also explain different types of fibers to spin and which are best for beginners. Then, once you have purchased and received your spindle and fiber, we will have another 30 minute lesson where I will teach you how to spin it and some ideas of different ways you can spin the same fiber to get a different effect in your finished yarn.

This is a great hobby for adults or kids to learn!
If you have kids who would like to learn to spin, the first conversation will be with you and your child to help pick a spindle, and the lesson can be either with just your child or with both of you! When I do demos I find a lot of kids are very interested in learning! Any child ages 5+ could learn!
