Childcare

I will provide childcare for anywhere from 1 to 10 children, ages 0 to 18 years in a location of your choosing or in my home. I will provide supervision, engage them in age appropriate activities, change diapers, feed them with food and drinks provided and let them lead the session (if they want me to keep them entertained or if they want to entertain themselves.) I can provide childcare for groups (such as PTA meetings) or for families. We will discuss ahead of time your expectations of me and what the children are and aren't allowed to do. I can provide activities but you must provide any necessities such as diapers, formula, food and drinks. If I am watching your children from my home then you will be responsible for a certain amount of liability (ie: if you have some wild kids that decide to trash my tv or put holes in my walls then you'll be held accountable). If I am going to your location then depending on the day and time I may need to bring my own children. However they are well behaved and social children and will pose no problem or distraction and will by no mean impede my ability to care for your children. References are available.
Training & Qualifications
I am a mom of 4 boys ages 13, 10, 3 and 6 months. I have decades of experience providing childcare. As a teen I babysat for families and for our surrounding schools' PTA meetings. As an adult I have volunteered with underprivileged youth age 0 - 15, with big brothers and big sisters and babysat. I have worked at two daycares caring for groups of children ages 0 - 12 years. I have my level 1 childcare staff qualification certificate (Child Development Assistant) and ran my own dayhome from May 2016 to September 2017. I have also worked in a variety of elementary schools with the Edmonton Public School Board as a lunch supervisor and substitute secretary and spent over half a decade volunteering in my son's elementary school leading activities, on field trips and helping out in class.
Availability & Preferences
I am usually available anytime in my home, or various times if needed at your location without bringing my children.
