I can help you design a realistic and historically accurate Viking shield. That can include just helping you pick the design to put on it, or helping you find the right materials and the best places to buy them. I can give you the proper dimensions needed for everything, based on historical findings. I can tell you which elements have been fabricated by modern hypothesis. I could even translate words or phrases into Norse for you, and then elder futhark. There are so many options for personalizing a Viking shield, and I'd love to help you choose the best design suited for you.
For clarification: I will no longer be designing symbols from scratch for this. I will give you ideas of designs to use and point you in the right direction for things related to your interests. It takes me multiple hours to make a simple design, and I don't have the time to do that for every shield.
Training & Qualifications
I LARP as a Viking in Dagorhir and Belegarth. My unit is comprised mostly of historically accurate Vikings, and I've done all of the research to make my own Viking shield.
Availability & Preferences
My work schedule is random, but I can find time for short sessions most days.
