Based on my personal knowledge and work experience in HR and candidates selection, I can tell you this:
When you have over 800+ applicants from all over the world, it's nearly impossible for a recruiter to check all of them - we need to shortlist and drastically reduce this number down to a handful of candidates.
The first filter? Ditching the poorly written CVs.
