Pet Sitting

I will watch your (small) pet(s) if you're going out of town for a couple days. I've always been an animal lover and currently have 2 cats. Given this and our house size, we would be able to welcome your cats, rodents, or reptiles. I can administer oral medication (liquid or solid) and have comforted many of my colleagues' cats who have high anxiety. If you have an animal not listed in my qualifications section, but you'd be willing to instruct me on, I would be beyond excited to learn! I cannot keep large dogs, but could keep small dogs if they are house trained and have been around cats previously with no issues. If you live nearby, I'd also be happy to visit your home to feed and play with any pets I've cared for before. Additionally, if you provide an email address, I will set up a google photos album to share, as I have when keeping my colleagues' and friends' cats, so you can see your beloved pets while you're away.
Training & Qualifications
I have always been an animal lover. Throughout my life, I have owned and/or cared for cats, dogs, iguanas, bearded dragons, turtles, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, mice, rats, hermit crabs, fish, ducklings, and horses. I have also been around, but not directly cared for many goats, geckos, frogs, newts and snakes. For many of the cats and dogs, I have administered various oral medications (liquid and solid) as well as nursed kittens who've lost or been separated from their mother. If you have an animal I haven't listed, but you'd be willing to instruct me on, I would be beyond excited to learn!
Availability & Preferences
I have very flexible work hours and have the ability to work from home if needed. I do occasionally travel for work, but I typically know about this well in advance.
