Wedding/Events Choreographer

I will work with you to create a unique personal dance for weddings, parties, special events, or just for fun. Solos, duets and groups welcome. All bodies can dance! Whether you have a disability or physical impairment or are just terrified to dance in front of others - I will help you discover YOUR unique movement vocabulary and virtuosity. All people, couples, and groups are welcome. For choreography sessions we will decide together on how many sessions to have depending on event and the complexity of the dance/choreography.
My particular interest and specialty is creating dance for/with people and couples with disabilities and mobility impairments.
All sessions will be held at a North Portland dance studio. If you have another location in mind, let me know and I'll try to make it work.
Training & Qualifications
I have been dancing, performing, teaching and choreographing for the last 15 years. I have a BA in Dance from the University of Washington and have trained with CandoCo Dance Co. in London. I have worked with and taught people of all ages and abilities. I believe that all bodies can dance and are meant to dance. If you can breathe (assisted or not) then you can dance. Inspiration for choreography is all around us, even in the everyday mundane tasks.
I am wanting to start a wedding choreography business and would love some clients to build my portfolio.
