Trans* Cultural Competency Course

I will send you a Prezi presentation I use to teach "trans* 101" workshops and cultural competency trainings, and go over the material with you. I'll also dedicate 20 minutes or so to answering any questions you might have.
The transgender community is more and more often entering the spotlight of mass media and overall social awareness. Many people have questions, and that's okay! However, not every trans person wants to spend the amount of time and energy it takes to answer what seems to be an endless onslaught of very personal questions.
I'm very passionate about this, I am trans myself, and I /do/ want to spend my time and energy sharing knowledge and helping others to help others. Just come to me with an open mind, ready to listen not debate. I don't expect anyone to take my word as gospel, but the point of this is to set aside time to learn from the lived experiences of others.
Training & Qualifications
I am an anti-violence state advocate certified with 50 hour cultural competency training (5 hours spent learning up on the trans* community), and volunteer workshop teacher who's presented to about 100 people now. Also, personal experience! lol
