I am a writer, artist, and cosplayer. I strive to take on new tasks and constantly keep myself busy. I have a passion for my interests and always strive to do my best and learn more techniques.
My main source of writing literature is books aimed at young adults and have a fantasy/post apocalyptic kind of setting. I love buildings characters and jumping from story to story as I write out my words. I am aiming to get some of my works published once I have enough confidence in my stories and structures. Until then I re-write and re-write until I am satisfied.
The artwork I specialise in is mainly anime/manga art. I have been honing my self-taught technique for a a little over 19 years and usually go to several conventions a year to sell my artwork in the exhibition halls. It's a great experience and it also gives me the opportunity to browse and meet people of similar interests. Unfortunately, I am not a good teacher then it comes to art, so I am not comfortable in giving advice about "how to draw" something. It's not that I don't want to help, I just lack the ability to explain my techniques. It works in my head, but not in words.
Cosplaying is still quite a new area to me. And I'm very happy I got into it. It gives me the chance for a lot of hands on artistic expression, and learning techniques/skills in numerous different areas. Although I used to cosplay here and there back in my earlier teen years, after a while I discontinued, and it was only about 3-4 years ago where I picked it up again. I've been having a great time learning costuming, prop, make-up, wig styling, and convention car tetris. It's exciting to see how much more complicated you can get on things when you gain a little more experience.
I look forward to working with many of you. =)
