I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades because I do a little bit of everything. You might also say that I am more of a generalist vs. a specialist because I know enough about a lot of things to get the job done (surprisingly, sometimes I have more knowledge and capability than people who are considered experts). I've worked in retail, restaurants, B2B service sector and a non-profit. I've worked in many roles including manager, installer, programmer, consultant, salesperson, waitress, bookkeeper, website designer, cashier, marketing specialist, collections agent, and more. All of them suit me for different reasons. I enjoy serving people, solving problems and being creative. Because I enjoy change, I do not like to do the same thing everyday. I'm not terribly fond of anything that resembles routine.

What I've learned is that I have high standards for myself and I work hard to earn competence in whatever skills are required of me in the moment. I like change and challenges and I learned that I'm much more creative than I originally thought. I don't usually give myself enough credit for being able to do something new or learn a new skill, but very quickly, I find that I can do it with effort. Isn't that true for most of us?

Personally, I like to cook and bake. I sometimes lead vocal choirs or bell choirs, and I write arrangements for voice, bells and trumpet (my husband plays the trumpet). I am born and raised in Florida and reside in Central Florida with my husband and two daughters. I am active in my church and enjoy sharing my heritage (Syrian-Lebanese) with my extended family.
