I got my start in web development around 2004 or so, while in high school. I first learned what was then Macromedia Flash. Then I learned basic HTML for simple MS-Word-looking websites. I thought it was the coolest thing ever! Then CSS was discovered, and all of a sudden, my web pages were dialed up to 11! This couldn't possibly get any better, right? Of course it can. Enter: JavaScript. After learning how to make highly interactive content on the web, I was hooked for life.

Now, roughly 10 years later, I'm developing websites, banner ads, e-commerce solutions, web games, mobile apps, the works. I couldn't be happier. And all of this started because I was hired and spent too much time on the computer as a teenager.
