I will take your "final mix" (typically any track with about 6db of headroom) and make it loud and beautiful enough to be showed off to your friends! Please note that this service is not 'magic'. I can not fix your mix if that is what you're looking for, I will only smooth out the rough edges and make sure everything sounds adequate before putting it out into the public. A mastering engineer's primary duty is to make sure that the relative volume levels of your track are not too high or low between different types of sounds. For example, if your snare is too loud in your mix, as an engineer, I might EQ that part of the track to make it blend in better with the rest of your performance.
