Writing critique
21
I will go over your writing - whether it be a book draft, a short story, an essay, or an article and I will give honest and constructive feedback on it. I am a very encouraging person and I will never tell you anything outright mean about your writing, simply offer suggestions on how to improve or even point out simple grammatical errors. I can also give you advice on where to go forward with your story (in the case of a book or short story) if you are having trouble with plot-lines.
I also have a lot of experience with formal papers and analyses. I can give you feedback and if you like, offer ways to reword your essays to make them more coherent.
I promise my complete honesty as well as discretion if you wish it. I do not judge writing, don't be embarrassed if you want me to proofread your erotic fiction or fan fiction!
Training & Qualifications
I am a writer myself, and I have taken several classes on writing including a Masterclass taught by James Patterson. I have had several poems and essays published and won a local award for a short story. I write at least 500 to 1000 words a day and I read more than that.
I am also currently a student at a college in NYC, and my major is very writing intensive. I spend quite a bit of time writing essays and comparative analyses of books and artwork. I assist my classmates with peer reviews regularly.
Availability & Preferences
My availability varies, however, I can fit in reading and messaging my feedback into the holes in my schedule. Monday and Tuesday nights will likely be my most active times.
