Hi! I'm Tamara. I have an 18 month old daughter who loves to run around outside and get into everything. And I do mean EVERYTHING. She's a brilliant little imp who loves to explore her world and attempt to be independent. ( She's not very good at this yet, but she'll get better as she gets older; I'm predicting a very difficulty time as she hits her 2s and3s and gets coordinated enough to do more on her own.)

I picked up my love of handcrafts, in particular sewing and crocheting, from my grandmother, and I consider them a good way to remember her. She passed before I had the chance to learn as much as I wanted from her, and I started teaching myself crochet around10-12 as a way to honor her memory.

I'm interested in cooking and eating(lol), especially foreign cuisines that are new to me and trying different techniques. I am also interested in canning, dehydrating, and other methods of preserving food, and of course learning to efficiently use thusly preserved food, starting and maintaining a kitchen garden, beekeeping, and emergency preparedness.
