Peacemaker - Vegan Chef - Yogi - Holistic Life Coach - Grantwriter - Tutor - Former diplomat trying to reconnect to her roots and keeping things real, one breath at a time.
Hey there! Thanks for checking me out. I've been traveling the world most of my adult life for work and learning and am now back in my native SF. I live near the beach in a coastal community and am learning from those who are working the land, remembering what is real after so many years in what was sometimes too real or surreal situations. :-)
For the last six years I've been studying holistic healing arts. It helped me through a lot of complicated times. I've started working recently as a life coach and spiritual midwife of sorts. Working as a diplomat overseas in many remote and complicated countries, somewhat began that cycle, as I saw many people in different stages of dis-ease in life. My own healing somewhat began in the kitchen and tuning inward. I started to spend a lot of time cooking as it is more concrete than democracy. Also being a vegetarian or vegan overseas was challenging otherwise. I immersed myself in cooking and learned how to prepare everything I'd want to eat since there were often limited options where I was. For me, cooking is about creating - it is mindful perfection in the form of nourishment, it's the chance to connect with all that has come into place for that precise moment of eating or creating and being grateful. I love showing people that eating healthfully is the same as with delicious flavor. It's just knowing how to compose a meal with that intention.
