Whether your ball python is refusing to eat, your corn snake is shedding in pieces, or you are considering getting your first snake and need information to get you started and pick the right one, I am glad to help!
I'm very passionate about correct snake care that keeps snakes as healthy as possible, and the information in pet stores and online care sheets are outdated and can even cause harm to our pet snakes.

Note: I will not take the place of a vet. If you animal needs medical attention, I can sometimes help advise you on medications to avoid, what to say to the vet, etc. But I won't be able to step in and be the vet for a very ill animal.
If you are asking about a more rare species or venomous species, I will refer you to a group that can give you more information than I would be able to provide.

After spending 3 years working in the pet industry, I found joy in researching the proper care for the animals being sold. I have been advised by the top experts in the field, those who study the animals in the wild, and learned from scientific articles/studies, as well as experience owning several snakes myself.
