About Sharla Ellison

I am a full time student and work at the tutoring center at my school in addition to my position as an Uber driver. I work very hard to make sure I am giving the people around me what they need. I lov...e being active and being a rockin' mama. I have a dog and two fish. I like to write, read, and game. I prefer tabletop gaming over consoles but you'll find me online and on the PS4. I love to cook. I like to make delicious things for my friends and family and there is no, "I don't know whether or not I should eat." At my house, if you're hungry your fed and there is always coffee. I am going to be a teacher and spend quite a bit of time on my studies. I was a virtual assistant for several years. It allowed me to stay home with my son after he was born, which was wonderful and necessary. I did everything from write and edit to research to purchasing to scheduling. If it can be delegated to someone remote, I probably did it at some point. As a tutor, I have worked to make students more capable both with help and on their own. The end goal is that they will be able to keep the skills they learn with us and continue their education or whatever it is they want to do with their lives without us. I'm averaging about a book a week this year, even with everything going on. My friends all tease me because I seem to have a dozen balls in the air and they are all -top priorities- but I manage to get everything done so I think it counts.show more
