I am a confident, eager, and hard working student currently attending McMaster University. I take pride in all aspects of my work and can deliver quality on a deadline.

I am passionate about trying new opportunities, learning, and gaining new experience. I am always looking to be involved and engaged in my community.

The past two summers, I have had the incredible opportunity to work as an FSWEP Student at Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada. During this work, I have developed new skills for working in teams and writing at a high level. I have experience presenting content to a senior executive, and working successfully with peers and colleagues.

As a student leader, I have filled roles such as Media Executive member and Co-Leader on student council and have been awarded several awards for leadership for my achievement in these roles. I am currently the Director of Promotions for the executive council of the McMaster Marching Band.

These roles have also allowed me to experience completing multifaceted tasks, such as event planning and interacting with the student body, administration, and community. Acting as a student leader has allowed to gain experience working independently and with others, outside of the normal academic atmosphere.

I have successfully completed all of my lifeguard and swimming instructor certification and have gained experience working with a wide variety of patrons and co-workers in both areas. I value the importance of creating a positive atmosphere for both clients and co-workers.

This stream of work has also given me plenty of experience in interacting effectively with the public- a skill I believe to be crucial in public relations and communications. I am an effective written and oral communicator and have experience in dealing with clients and customers of all types.
