Typically, you are at a certain place in your job or role (your current state). You may be satisfied, but not as happy as you'd like to be. Or you may be unhappy. Regardless, you desire to be in a different place (future state). The difference between where you are currently and where you want to be in the future creates a gap. If just closing the gap were enough, it would be an easy process. But typically, barriers pop up or are already there that slow you down or stop you completely, and keep you from your reaching goal (your future state). My job is to help clarify both the current state and future state with you, help you to identify the barrier or barriers that are in the way, and help you create a plan to remove the barriers, thus closing the gap and getting you to your future state!
Training & Qualifications
I have been an informal coach for many years in my role as a leadership development professional. I have been certified in the Leverage for Leaders coaching methodology and am currently working on my ACC designation (accreditation) with the International Coaching Federation. I have coached individual contributors, managers, GMs, directors, vice presidents and those in the C suite. I have an MBA and am currently working on my doctoral dissertation in servant leadership.
