Career Consulting

10 per session - Virtual OK - Posted Aug 06, 2020

Sick and tired of getting countless job rejections and try again layers? Frustrated about not hearing back from job applications? Thinking of switching jobs but do not know how to do it?

I have been in the exact such situations and it took a huge mental toll on me. I do not want anyone else to go through that toll, including you! I want to help you figure out what’s the right things to do for your career and give you tips to help achieve these goals.

My session would be 60 mins long, and the 60 mins will involve, but not limited to:
- learning what your immediate career goal is
- providing strategies on how to achieve that career goal
- resume critiques
- interview practices
- how to network effectively
- recommendations of free or cheap ways to help obtain the skills you need

I cannot guarantee immediate results, but I can definitely guarantee that I will help ensure your career steps will be more defined as well as more purposeful and that you will have the ability to get your career dreams.

I have helped some new grads and college students find their internships as well as jobs, and I myself have found my dream job. I hope I can help you too!

Training & Qualifications

I’m a Scrum master after having worked in Software Development, Data Analytics and Education. I have helped 15 students (interns and new grads) with career advice and industry-switching tactics and I would love to offer these skills to other people.

Availability & Preferences

I’m free on Mondays to Fridays between 5pm-7pm EDT (Toronto time).

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About Sarbajoy Majumdar

Having a myriad of experiences through the co-op program at the University of Waterloo, I know that technology and people will be an important part of my life and career, and has always been the two p...illars of my professional career. I love the ability of coding and finding issues with products, as well as the aspect of interacting with the very people who will use the products I build. I definitely love to ensure that people are happy with the lives they live, and many of my involvements in my university reflect that. One day, I have the aspirations to inspire every person in the world to be confident, authentic and fearless in everything they do.show more
