Hello Simbi! I am a professional nomad, I’ve lived in 17 states working in clinical trials, private practice ophthalmic diagnostics, server, bartender, housesiter, volunteering, online moderating, meal prep and cooking, childcare, dog walking....I’m sure I’m leaving out a few. Anyway I’ve clearly got a wicked case of wanderlust, chronic curiosity living by a philosophy I call engineered serendipity. I’ve got ninja level sharing economy skills and excited to be here!
I am a recovering alcoholic 4.5 years sober. To stay active in recovery when I’m living in wilderness (middle of Yellowstone) with WiFi I am active on several online support groups. I say this because if you want to talk about it clearly doing so in an open forum is out of the question. I am open and very public bout my history but your anonymity is sacrosanct with me.
My life is stranger than fiction, I am an ex-Mormon turned Buddhist and yogi I was widowed very young before our son turned 1 in 1996. I have also more recently had a baby for a gay male couple. I’ve discovered many birthmotherers just don’t talk about it but again....your anonymity is safe with me no matter how long ago your experience. I have a strong network of birth mothers, adoptive parents and adoptees and understand the adoption triad very well.
I also craft a bit with skincare products and up cycling., I am an aspiring writer. I’m excited to be here and hope to be of use as well as seeking to further my own life skills.
