About Rose Mina Munjee
Rose practices and teaches applied mindfulness meditation and contemplative practices to enhance daily living and support transformation. She integrates therapeutic and restorative yoga as well as craniosacral therapy in her work and practices insight-based Mindfulness Meditation. Rose has been practicing mindfulness meditation and mindful movement since 2003. She has guided people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of mobility, with a focus on breath and body awareness, trauma sensitivity, and stress reduction. Rose has taught in private, retreat, studio, educational, and corporate settings, including the 519 Community Centre, the University of Toronto, IBM, Union Yoga, The Yoga Lounge, Bodhi Tree, several high schools, Bombardier, Advertising Agencies and Law firms, The Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance, and the Centre for Mindfulness Studies.
Rose is a certified Applied Mindfulness Meditation Specialist from the University of Toronto and she has 500 hours of Yoga teacher training plus Restorative Yoga and a Therapeutic Yoga Internship from Octopus Garden Yoga Centre. Rose has attended international retreats and studied with Beverly Yates, Jim Bean, Thich Nhat Hanh, Blue Cliff Monastery, Ontario Vipassana Centre, Jack Kornfield, and Insight Meditation Society; she has also taken part in the annual Mindful Society Conference in Toronto, she is a facilitator for Mindfulness Everyday and Mindfulness without Borders, and has a Craniosacral Therapy practice. She also works as a consultant in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Software Development, and Change Management.
