I'm happy to chat by Skype, messenger, Google Docs or e-mail, though I find a combination of real-time talking and sending notes is best.
Everyone approaches writing differently, and it does wonders to have an extra set of eyes or a listening ear to help formulate the perfect structure for your topic or get past a frustrating block. Whether you need to really talk out a subject to decide where your paper is going, you need to pound out an outline to get past that intimidating blank page, or you just need to know that your paper is error-free and idiot-proof, I'll keep you moving smoothly towards that deadline.
I worked as a writing tutor in both high school and college, and I'm proud of the work I did with students and the creative solutions we found. I have a strong background in literature and history, though if your paper is on, say, thermonuclear dynamics, I'll be more help on the grammar than the fact checking.
